Collins Big Cat Phonics Progress Books for Ages 7+

Collins Big Cat Phonics Progress is a reading intervention scheme designed for struggling readers in aged 7 upwards. These books offer a mature feel with engaging illustrations, photography, and age-appropriate topics. However, the text is at a lower KS1 reading level, allowing students to practice decoding skills in a familiar format. Each book is labelled with a dual-coloured tab to indicate both the interest age and reading level. These phonically decodable books are designed for catching up and further practice of phonics at phases 2–5 and would work very well with children in Year 2 upwards.
